***
RECEPTION CLOSED IN THE AFTERNOONS
***
Due to staff hospitalisations we will not have cover in reception for the next few weeks.
The doctors will still be available for medical emergencies ONLY; Please call via the emergency phone number. This can be accessed by calling 02890 741188.
The doctors have fully booked face to face appointments in the afternoon and will NOT be able to answer non emergency calls or routine enquiries. Please help us to help you by the calling the next morning for all non urgent and routine matters. Due to the volume of calls, please try to call before 10:30am. This will allow the doctor to prioritise the calls and call you back as soon as possible.
If you have prescriptions due on the 27th, 28th and 29th of December please ask for these NOW. We may be without reception staff on these dates. The best way to order a prescription is to call the surgery on 02890 741188, select option 1 for the Gardiner Family Practice; After the short message you should again select option 1 and then follow the instructions.
For test results, please try to call between 11:00pm and 12:00pm. Your results are important and as we are receiving and making a high volume of calls in the early morning, the doctor will be better placed to discuss your results later in the afternoon.
If you feel you may need a home visit - Please try to call before 10:30am. This will give the doctor more time to assess your call and plan a visit on a timely basis.
If you require urgent medical attention outside of normal surgery hours please call
02890 744447.
